Method

  1. Brown the finely chopped onion with two tablespoons of evo oil in a saucepan
  2. Add the tomato purée and cook over low heat for about 30 minutes
  3. Season with salt to taste and add a few leaves of fresh basil
  4. Cook the La Casa del Grano Malloreddus Piccoli 1 in a generous amount of salted water, then drain and toss with the tomato sauce
  5. Serve Is Malloreddus with a generous grating of Parmesan and few small basil leaves
