Maccheroncini
Maccheroncini are a pasta shape from our Le Rustiche range and derive their name from the internationally recognised name for pasta. Their mini-version allowed us to tweak their name, making it both fun and recognisable. The slow production process and bronze drawing give them a texture and porosity perfect for catching the sauce, creating an explosion of flavour and emotion. Their small and compact shape make them perfect for a variety of dishes and pairings, but we also like to keep things simple, like in our classic tomato sauce with a sprinkling of chilli and oregano. Cooking them is a breeze: simply empty the bag into 4 litres of boiling, salted water. After 9 minutes of cooking, drain them and add sauce to taste.
