A deep texture and full-bodied consistency are the secret behind the largest shape in this traditional pasta line. Designed to be enjoyed with a variety of sauces, these pasta balls are best paired with the strong flavours of meat- or fish-based recipes typical of traditional Sardinian cuisine. To this day, in our factory, we can still reproduce the ancient manual technique, whereby the irregular balls were obtained by working the semolina in an earthenware bowl (called “sa scivedda”) and then roasted in the oven. It is the pasta shape to keep in your pantry, always.
